Websites publishing health and fitness information pose certain risks for the businesses that run them. This T&Cs document is there to assist those businesses adhere to the law regarding websites and to manage those risks.

To illustrate, all fitness regimes can cause harm and certain types of fitness activities pose a high risk of substantial harm. If a user suffers an injury as a result from following a particular activity regime published on the website, she may look to be compensated by that particular fitness business.

Although legal T&Cs cannot completely prevent such claims, they can reduce the likelihood of claims and the seriousness of the consequences of claims. The same point can be said about dietary advice and other health and fitness related guidance.
